About Mr. Charles Loh
Meet the Surgeon Behind the Precision
Mr Charles Loh a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, specialising in complex reconstruction for trauma and cancer. He is also highly skilled in lymphedema surgery and supermicrosurgery. His expertise spans reconstruction in the lower limb after trauma or after bone infection, and skin cancer assessment and excision with reconstruction if required.
He has extensive surgical experience and has performed thousands of procedures to date, ranging from minor skin surgery, free flap reconstruction to lymphedema surgery. He is also an honorary consultant at Royal Papworth Hospital where he performs chest wall reconstructions on a regular basis.
Apart from that, Mr Loh also specialises in Oriental cosmetic surgical techniques like double eyelid surgery or Oriental blepharoplasty; if requested, he uses Oriental techniques for non-surgical rejuvenation of the face with Botox and fillers.
Beyond his clinical practice, he is also a dedicated researcher and educator. HE has authored over 150 publications and contributed book chapters in the Oxford Textbook of Plastic Surgery. He was also featured on the Discovery Channel documentary – ‘The Face Doctors’.

Charles Loh Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery was founded on the belief that patients deserve highly specialised care, even in a private setting. UK-trained and a graduate of UCL, with years of NHS and international experience, Mr. Loh established his private practice at Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital to combine surgical excellence with thoughtful, personalised care.
Our clinic now serves patients across the UK and internationally, offering tailored treatments ranging from skin lesion removal and scar revision to lymphoedema management and advanced reconstructive procedures.
